Zimbabwe Stamp Programme 2008

Zimbabwe have announced their stamp programme for 2008 and we’re pleased to see that again a very modest issue will take place.
The year kicks of with a set of four stamps celebrating St. Valentines day. These will be issued ahead of the day, on 20th January.
A set of six stamps plus minisheet will be issued on 24th April depicting rats and mice, followed by an Olypic Games commemorative issue on 26th June made of four stamps.
Another set of four will be issued on 22nd July, commemorating national heroes. On the same day, a special commemorative cover will be issued to celebrate the anniversary of the UPU.
The year rounds off with a set of four depicting famous artists on 16th September and a set of six plus minisheet on 23rd October, celebrating Zimbabwe: Africas Paradise.

Because of problems securing delivery, Cray Stamps will be collecting advance orders in 2008 and readers are urged to order early. They will endevour to obtain back issues as required but cannot guarantee supply.
