On 20th November 2007, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary. To mark this special occasion, the Ascension Island Post Office has commissioned a very special set of three Diamond Wedding stamps produced in triptych format.
35p – The happy couple, then Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten, are photographed for the first time after publicly announcing their engagement, July 1947.
90p – A reproduction of the Wedding Programme, a treasured souvenir of a special day.
£1.25 – Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh arrive at St Paul’s Cathedral for a service of thanksgiving held in honour of the Queen’s 80th birthday.
